2023 年 3 月 22 日，日本东京讯 - 全球半导体解决方案供应商瑞萨电子（TSE：6723）今天宣布已与专注于高性能无线产品的无晶圆厂半导体公司Panthronics AG（“Panthronics”）的股东达成最终协议，根据该协议，瑞萨电子将通过全资子公司以全现金交易方式收购Panthronics。此次收购将丰富瑞萨电子的连接技术产品阵容，将其业务范围扩展到金融科技、物联网、资产跟踪、无线充电和汽车应用中高需求的近场通信（NFC）应用领域。
NFC已成为数字经济中的事实标准，触及日常生活的方方面面。移动支付（mPoS）终端和非接触式支付等金融科技、物联网、资产跟踪和无线充电是NFC日益普及的重点。Panthronics总部位于奥地利格拉茨，一直致力于为支付、物联网和NFC无线充电提供易于应用、创新、体积小且高效的先进NFC芯片组和软件。自2018年以来，瑞萨电子和Panthronics一直作为合作伙伴共同应对不断增长的NFC需求。收购Panthronics将使瑞萨电子自身具备具有竞争力的NFC技术，得以立即抓住NFC不断增长的新兴市场机遇。
