Designing AI‑based vision systems doesn’t have to be complex. In this video, we show how the RZ/V2L and RZ/G2L LGA system on module (SoM) simplifies real‑time object detection by integrating AI acceleration, vision processing, and multimedia capabilities into a compact, power‑efficient platform.
We demonstrate how Renesas’ DRP‑AI, on‑chip image signal processor (ISP), and H.264 video support enable high‑throughput video streaming and real‑time inference—without relying on external ISPs or multi‑chip architectures. Using a practical lab example, the video highlights reliable object‑detection performance and illustrates how this SoM accelerates development, reduces BOM cost, and shortens time‑to‑market for smart vision applications
