描述

The ISL73007MEVAL1Z evaluation board provides a quick and efficient platform for evaluating the performance of the ISL73007M radiation tolerant buck regulator. Designed for critical low-power applications, the ISL73007M is a compact, high-efficiency Point-of-Load (POL) synchronous buck converter that operates over a 3V to 18V input range and delivers up to 3A of output current.

This device integrates high-side and low-side MOSFETs and includes a suite of protection features, such as undervoltage, overvoltage, overcurrent, and over-temperature protections, along with power-good indication and soft-start functionality. The ISL73007M supports a switching frequency range of 300kHz to 1MHz, which can be resistor-programmed or synchronized to an external clock.

For flexibility in system design, the ISL73007M offers two compensation options:

  • Internal compensation, optimized for the default 500kHz switching frequency
  • External Type-II compensation, allowing customization based on specific design and performance requirements

With a high level of integration, the ISL73007M minimizes the need for external components, reducing BOM count and design complexity.
