The RTKA489204DK0000BU evaluation kit includes the evaluation board, dongle, cables, and GUI. The kit is used to evaluate the features of the RAA489204 14-cell battery front end (BFE) IC. Additionally, RTKA489204DE0000BU evaluation boards can be purchased and added separately if needed for daisy-chaining.
The RAA489204 GUI is built on Excel using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA 1.00). It is designed to allow users to perform detailed evaluation of the RAA489204 and also includes a simplified demonstration GUI.
The RAA489204 is a daisy-chainable, monolithic battery monitor IC for 6S to 14S batteries and can be daisy-chained for higher-voltage, interconnected battery modules. It is typically used in UPS, energy storage, battery backup, and battery-based generator applications.
