概览

描述

The single‑stage matrix converter topology serves as a high‑efficiency AC/DC bidirectional converter that eliminates the need for separate front‑end PFC and DC/DC stages typically found in conventional designs. By integrating a primary AC/AC bridge formed with bidirectional devices, a high‑frequency transformer, and a secondary high‑frequency AC‑to‑DC rectifier stage, this architecture minimizes energy conversion losses associated with multistage configurations. The use of bidirectional switch (BDS) GaN devices and a compact high‑frequency transformer enables high power density and efficient operation.
