描述
This TRIAC motor control reference design is built on a proven TRIAC‑based motor‑control architecture. It combines the RA2E1 32‑bit Arm® Cortex®‑M23 microcontroller (MCU) or the RX231 32‑bit MCU with phase‑angle firing driven by a zero‑cross detector to regulate compressor and fan speed while minimizing torque ripple and electromagnetic interference (EMI).
The RAA223021 buck regulator derives low‑voltage rails directly from rectified 115/230VAC, enabling ultra‑low standby power. The ISL28005 high‑accuracy current‑sense amplifier monitors load current to support stall and overload detection with fail‑safe shutdown. The ISL3152E robust RS‑485 transceiver provides reliable connectivity with enhanced electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection.
