描述
The µPD720115 is a USB 2.0 hub controller that supports USB Battery Charging Specification 1.2; it can charge various portable devices, like smartphones and tablet PCs. µPD720115 integrates two regulators to eliminate external regulators which saves system costs. The µPD720115 enhances the operating temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C and it is suitable for various markets, including consumer and industrial markets.

- Has Windows Hardware Certification for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 (Submission ID = 1617556)
- Supports USB Battery Charging Specification Revision 1.2 and other portable devices
- Configurable downstream port counts of 2, 3, or 4 ports
- Supports Individual/Gang power control/overcurrent detection
- Supports USB 2.0 Compound (non-removal) devices by I/O pin strapping
- Single 5V power supply, on-chip LDO for 3.3V from 5V and 1.05V from 3.3V
- System clock: 24MHz crystal or oscillator
- Supports 24MHz clock output from non-removal device on downstream port
- Small footprint using a small QFN package (40-pin QFN)
